This means: Section meetings can take place outdoors and indoors. Residential activities may take place.
The District Treasurer will ensure that expenditure is controlled and reported on, in a timely manner. He is a member of the District Executive Committee, which meets 4 time per year. The Treasurer will prepare a statement of accounts annually which will be scrutinised and forwarded to the County Scouts and Charity Commissioners.
He will report to the District Chair and work with the treasurer of each Group to collect their annual accounts.
We're thrilled to announce that Get In is coming back, and will be held on Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd May 2022. We will be returning to the familiar grounds of Ragley Hall (Alcester, B49 5NJ) which is where Get In 2015 was held!

As you know the District has been without a District Commissioner since Mike Hayward stepped down a couple of years ago and I have been covering in an acting capacity. Thank you for bearing with me during this time.
We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Carl Hankinson, our new UK Chief Commissioner, and Jennie Price, our new Chair of the Board of Trustees.
To head a small team to develop District communications and help tell Scouting stories externally to the public and internally to Scouting, particularly in Stratford upon Avon District.
The role will include using all aspects of communications in particularly Social Media, Web Site, Mailchimp, Press and developing contacts with local Media.
Your communication planning will use information from Groups, District and County Scouts. By planning you can ensure that the right photos, text, audio or video are used across a number of channels, to members of the public.
From 22nd – 30th March Stratford District was saturated with promotion for “Volunteers to Help Scouts”. The aim is to recruit 20 new Leaders and 20 Adult supporters the local papers carried Double Page spreads, there was a Launch at the Crowne Plaza with over 50 distinguished guests.
MP joins Stratford Scouts. Nadhim Zahawi is seen proudly wearing his Stratford District Neckerchief. He has promised to wear it in the House of Commons when the adjournment debate on Scouting is held in the near future.
