Brief description of role of Communications Manager
To head a small team to develop District communications and help tell Scouting stories externally to the public and internally to Scouting, particularly in Stratford upon Avon District.
The role will include using all aspects of communications in particularly Social Media, Web Site, Mailchimp, Press and developing contacts with local Media.
Your communication planning will use information from Groups, District and County Scouts. By planning you can ensure that the right photos, text, audio or video are used across a number of channels, to members of the public.
You will report to the District Chair with regular contacts with all Leaders in the District.
No previous experience of Scouting is necessary, and training will be given to prepare you to understand and enjoy all aspects of Scouting.
